What Are You Made of? A Poetry Picture Book

Loredana is a medical student and poet from Aotearoa New Zealand. She is fusing these interests by self-publishing a children's picture book of poems about the organs of the body, set to be released in early 2022. She believes it is more important now than ever that young people have an awareness of health and their bodies, and she also seeks to engage children with poetry as an art form. Loredana's poetry has been published in the New Zealand Poetry Society's Spotlight on Student Poetry, various student publications, a Youth Arts NZ art tower, and in a self-published anthology, Reflections.
