I’m on the lookout for ambitious Kiwis doing their life’s work, wherever in the world they may live today.
I’m here to invest, brainstorm, and be a resource in whatever way I can.
I built and led the global “On Deck” community as CEO, rode the wildest of startup roller coaster rides.
Before that, I built a career at the intersections of product management, venture capital, and law — from early days at AngelList, to Carta, 500 Startups, CoinList, and more.
Before THAT, I built startups while studying at the University of Otago, and took a lap of NZ’s venture ecosystem with Lightning Lab, Movac, and GD1 in 2013/14.
I invested in ~300 pre-seed and seed rounds as GP of the On Deck funds, Scout for Village Global, and/or personally as an angel investor.
