About Me

Born in Tokyo and raised across three continents, I’ve always embraced the adventure of new opportunities. I moved to Australia as a baby before heading to the UK at age 10 for school and university. After starting my career in London and New York, I decided to put my Aussie passport to good use and return to Sydney. Now back in the sun, I’m making up for lost time at the beach and staying active with touch rugby. Whether it’s navigating global markets or chasing waves, I thrive on challenge, connection, and continuous learning.

What do you do at Blackbird?

As an Investor Relations Associate at Blackbird, I help build and nurture relationships with our Limited Partners, ensuring they stay informed, engaged, and excited about our journey. My role spans fundraising, LP communications, and reporting, making sure our investors have the insights they need to navigate venture capital with confidence.

What did you do before Blackbird?

Before Blackbird, I worked in Sales and Strategy for a large tech firm.

What do you believe that others do not?

Luck is a skill. The people who seem 'lucky' are the ones who put themselves in the right places, with the right people, over and over again.

What ideas are you excited by right now?

I’m excited about the rise of capital-efficient startups. The era of 'growth at all costs' is shifting, and the best founders are proving they can build enduring businesses with sustainable unit economics. What this means for Venture Capital as an asset class will reshape the next 10 years.
