Vow is building the Nestle or Heinz of cellular agriculture. They aim to rapidly test and develop cell lines of once-admired and long-forgotten animal meats and newly developed meats targeted at niche markets (such as high-protein low-fat meat for bodybuilders).
We love the scrappiness of this team as they hustled nearly-free lab space at Kings School and successfully wooed Dr James Ryall, a University of Melbourne stem cell researcher, to join their team. They have since successfully cultured kangaroo meat, a world first.
